Our luck held out at Abergavenny - the hurricane and downpour that was forecast didn’t materialise! This was different from our usual gigs- not quite a parade, not quite a static set. We played at different locations in the town, with the Mayor walking with us. Turns out he was pretty good drummer in his youth, so we ended up with him banging a couple of surdos. We’re hoping this will become one of our regular slots!
