Our first, eponymously titled album was released in 1996. Back then, the band sported a slightly different name (see our About Us page for more on the name change!), but the same familiar vibe and energy.

In 2010, we organised our third massive Welsh Encontro, which culminated in an hour-long performance in the Coal Exchange by our good selves.

The Bridge was a SWICA project from 1998. Over 100 musicians, including Samba Galêz, came together at the Pierhead, Cardiff Bay, to perform a musical celebration of Cardiff, by Cardiff. Recorded live on June 14th 1998.
Embala Eu features Sallie Maclennan, our resident choreographer and singer.
Our promotional DVD was released in 2007 and features music from some of our club gigs and formal recording sessions.
